Neurohumoral and Hemodynamic Profile in POTS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Patients with POTS were given surveys and a physical exam to determine the relationship between POTS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
- The majority of POTS patients met the criteria for CFS. Those patients that did meet this criteria had more activation of the sympathetic nervous system than those who did not meet CFS criteria.
- CFS is part of the spectrum of POTS.
