Welcome

Welcome to the Vanderbilt Burn Center Program
The only dedicated Burn Center serving adult and children in the state.

Vanderbilt's Burn Center facility is a 25-bed Level I burn unit dedicated to meeting the Wagnerchallenges of burn treatment and recovery. Our unit serves as a regional referral center for both adult and pediatric patients with over 600 admissions a year and 3,000 outpatient visits a year. Vanderbilt Burn Center provides quality comprehensive care for burn patients.

Vanderbilt Burn Center is staffed by physicians, nurses, therapists and support personnel including psychiatrists and a chaplain who work as a team to apply the most advanced technology and treatment methods possible. The staff also provides assistance in treating the emotional trauma of patients and their families to help our patients to lead a full, productive life. In addition, Vanderbilt Burn Center serves as a resource center for both referring facilities and the community, providing outreach programs, continuing education, and ongoing research to maintain state-of-the-art care.
