Paul Newhouse, M.D., Director of the Center for Cognitive Medicine receives the 2017 Alumnus of the Year award for Excellence in Research from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University. His many years in memory and Alzheimer's disease research make this award well deserved. Dr. Newhouse is currently conducting several Alzheimer's and memory impairment studies, including his own national MIND study which treats Mild Cognitive Impairment with nicotine patches.
