Laura Mendenhall, B.S.

Laura joined the Center for Cognitive Medicine in August of 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Health Sciences from the University of Kentucky where she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Warren Alilain's lab, conducting independent research on the neural control of breathing. Since joining CCM, she has enjoyed working with AHEAD study participants. She is planning on pursuing an MD/PhD degree in the future.
