Michelle Terrell, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC, NE-BC

Michelle Terrell leads advanced practice nurses (APRNs) and physician’s assistants (PA) in the acute and critical care setting, coordinating delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient care. Michelle received her BSN from Olivet Nazarene University in 1995. She began her pediatric nursing career at Monroe Carell and later obtained her MSN from Vanderbilt University (2001). Michelle is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in both primary and acute care and has practiced in the pediatric critical care setting since 2002 as a pediatric nurse practitioner. 

Michelle obtained her DNP from Vanderbilt University in 2018.  Leadership and advanced practice program development have been the focus of her career. She believes that advanced practice nursing makes a powerful impact in healthcare, therefore, mentoring and growing new nurse practitioners are the heart of her work.   Michelle is currently certified as a Nurse Executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
