Ryan Darby
Dr. Ryan Darby is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Frontotemporal Dementia Clinic at Vanderbilt University. He earned his medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed his residency training in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Simultaneously, he completed a Fellowship in behavioral neurology and psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and McLean Psychiatric Hospital in Boston. Clinically, he sees patients with cognitive and movement disorders.
Dr. Darby’s research focuses on symptoms of delusions, hallucinations, criminal behavior, and disordered free will perception in cognitive and movement disorders. He uses advanced neuroimaging techniques and behavioral testing to discover is these symptoms share a common pathway across different neurological disorders.
