Olivia Roman
Olivia completed her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University, earning a BA in Psychology in 2012. Immediately after graduating, she joined the Classen lab, where she worked for 4 years as a research coordinator for multiple studies on Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. During this time, she discovered a love for neuroscience and working with patients who have neurological diseases, and decided to pursue a career in medicine. She enrolled in the Vanderbilt School of Medicine in 2016, and is now a third year student. She is excited to be back in the lab to complete her medical school research project, investigating brain changes in patients diagnosed with Pure Autonomic Failure.
