The Annual School SLP Conference took place here on Vanderbilt's campus last week where we saw two of our lab team give a guest lecture. Meganne Muir and Adri Valtierra gave a presentation on how to support Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children in the schools to our fellow SLPs and teachers of the Deaf.
This presentation was created as a guide for educators filled with language, articulation, auditory training, parent/teacher, and community resources designed to support DHH children.
Meganne and Adri are currently doctoral students here at Vanderbilt and both members of the CLIMB Lab. We would like to give a big thank you to Meganne and Adri for their amazing presentation!
