Angie Walker

Senior Project Manager
Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences - CLIMB Lab

Ms. Walker has been in the field of deaf education for over 20 years and has a wide variety of experiences ranging from teaching children in early childhood through high school, administering education and language assessments, and most recently, coordinating the Language Assessment Program-DHH at Kansas School for the Deaf. Ms. Walker is interested in closing the gap between what educators understand about a child having a language delay and the true impact it has on their academics. For the American Sign Language and Spoken English Development of Young Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children's project, Ms. Walker will be collaborating with the CLIMB Lab to develop plans, goals, and objectives as well as providing support in the execution of day-to-day project activities.
