Katie Berg, Au.D., Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow / Clinical & Research Audiologist

Dr. Berg is an audiology clinician-scientist and postdoctoral fellow. She holds a Au.D. and Ph.D. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Vanderbilt University, as well as bachelor’s degrees in Violin Performance and Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from St. Olaf College. Her current research interests include validating default programming software parameters, exploring the relationship between number of active electrodes and speech perception using image-guidance, and using music production training to improve music and speech perception abilities of cochlear implant users. Outside of ears, she enjoys serving as assistant concertmaster of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra and spending time with her cats, Sir Elton John and Miss Moneypenny.
