Postdoctoral Fellow / Clinical & Research Audiologist
Emily Burg, PhD, AuD, CCC-A, is a postdoctoral research fellow in the I HEAR Lab and an adult cochlear implant audiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She completed her AuD/PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Dr. Ruth Litovsky, and her Audiology Externship at the Stanford Ear Institute. Her research aims to identify and understand factors that limit spatial hearing abilities in adults and children with cochlear implants. Long-term, she aspires to integrate research and clinical insights to develop innovative methods that address current limitations of cochlear implant technology to improve communication ability and quality of life for these patients.
