B. Lakshitha A. Perera, PhD

Lakshitha received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Florida. He is a highly motivated, reliable, dynamic, and collaborative researcher with a diverse set of technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. He has demonstrated aptitude in adaptability, creativity, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. His expertise spans through: Bioconjugates chemistry, protein engineering, polymer chemistry, biology and biochemistry, bioinformatics, computational modeling and mutational analysis, genomics, project management, scripting, data analysis, organizational skills, public speaking, and presentation. Lakshitha is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Gamazon lab.
