Wei-Qi Wei, MD, PhD, is an associate professor (tenure track) in Biomedical Informatics in the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. His research currently focuses on leveraging machine-processable content from EHR systems enabling personalized medicine. His interests involve high-throughput phenotyping, clinical pharmacogenomics, and post-market drug surveillance. He also develops tools for deep phenotyping, including MEDI.
