Jacob Poloway

Jacob graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2020. He joined the De la Huerta lab in 2021. He studied the roles of retinal photoreceptors in inflammation, pathological angiogenesis, and vascular permeability. Jacob returned to Knoxville to start medical school in 2024.
