Pumpki Su
Pumpki is a first-year doctoral student in the Department of Hearing & Speech Sciences at Vanderbilt University. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2015 with a B.S. in Linguistics and Communication Sciences and Disorders. As an undergraduate student, she worked in Dr. Casey Lew-Williams’s Language Learning Lab and Dr. Megan Roberts’ Early Intervention Research Group. She is interested in language acquisition and early intervention for young children with language impairments, including autism, hearing loss, etc. She is simultaneously pursuing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology here at Vanderbilt with the ultimate goal of conducting translational research that has clinical implications to children with atypical language development.
