Tonia Davis, M.S., CCC-SLP
Congratulations to Tonia Davis on successfully defending her dissertation!
Tonia is a doctoral student in Hearing & Speech Sciences at Vanderbilt University. She received her B.A. in Linguistics from Emory University and her M.S. in Communication Disorders and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities from Vanderbilt University. Tonia is interested in the differential diagnosis and treatment of language disorders in preschool and school-aged children with autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and hearing loss. She works on several projects within the Developmental Disabilities Lab and also collaborates on language and literacy assessment through the Listening and Learning Lab and the Cochlear Implant Research Laboratory at Vanderbilt. Tonia has presented research nationally at conferences including SRCLD and ASHA and is a recipient of numerous research travel grants.
