Anna Marie Allen, MD

A native Tennessean, Dr. Allen is a graduate with honors from East Tennessee State University and the Quillen College of Medicine. She completed a surgical residency at ETSU in 1992, where she was chief resident, and emergency medicine residency in the first ER residency class at Vanderbilt University in 1997.

She is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, working fullt-time caring for our veterans at the Nashville Veteran's Hospital emergency department. In her free time, Anna enjoys photography, digital scrapbooking, koi and water gardening, and traveling with family and friends. Anna lives with husband, Tommy, and rescued pups, Layla and Lizzie, in Brentwood.
