Kailey Winkler, MD
Dr. Kailey Winkler grew up in Southern California. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from Bucknell University, and subsequently completed her medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Winkler completed her emergency medicine residency at Vanderbilt University in 2023. She completed a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), with a passion for the intersection between mass casualty response, research, and public policy. Dr. Winkler is the medical director for the Nashville International Airport and assistant medical director for the Nashville Fire Department. She is also part of the university crisis management group and enjoys working event medicine with LifeFlight. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her husband, Matt, and their son, Shepherd. She has a crazy aussiedoodle, Dolly, and a snuggly cat, Rizzo, and loves to listen to live music, drink craft beer, and take trips to the beach as often as possible!
