Since 2001, Julie Lankford has served as a global operations and program management specialist for U.S. Government and other international donor-funded projects focused on economic and health development. In this capacity, she has been responsible for projects in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Central America, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Bulgaria and the Middle East. Ms. Lankford joined the Vanderbilt team in 2008 and is currently serving as the Chief Manager of Friends in Global Health, LLC as well as the Director of Global Health Initiatives for Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
