SImone Herzberg, BS

I am an MD/Ph.D. student at Vanderbilt, pursuing a career in pediatric orthopedic surgery and injury prevention research. I am currently in my second year of the Epidemiology Ph.D. program and my 4^th year of the MSTP (MD/Ph.D.). For my dissertation work, I am investigating physical and genetic risk factors for chronic rotator cuff tears. I am from the Pacific Northwest and enjoy outdoor activities. I was a two-sport collegiate athlete (soccer and rowing) and continue to spend most of my free time playing soccer, taking my dogs on hikes, cooking for my friends, and exploring Nashville.
