Dr Desai is the director of the Vanderbilt Adolescent and Young Adult Health Care Transition Clinic which is a multidisciplinary clinic that oversees the supervision and preparation of youth living with HIV in the region for adult care. As part of this he has formed the Southeastern Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Collaborative which includes St Jude, Emory, UAB, and MUSC. This collaborative is focused on research and exchange of best clinical practices for adolescents living with HIV in the region.
