Post-Doctoral Position
A new post-doctoral position in the Vanderbilt University program on Data Science Policy (DASPY) is open. The position is available starting July 1, 2016 for up to two years and is sponsored by the university under the Chancellor’s Trans-disciplinary Program Initiative. In the first year of their tenure, the post-doc will work closely with the investigators in the Vanderbilt Health Data Science Center and the Center for Genetic Privacy and Identity in Community Settings.
It is anticipated that a successful candidate will have training in a quantitative and/or computational field (e.g., computer science, information science, economics, or statistics). However, candidates without experience in such areas could be successful, provided they have experience in studying sociotechnical systems (e.g., an individual with a law degree focused on data protection).

and includes faculty from the Owen School of Business, School of Law, and Departments of Communications, Economics, English, Health Policy, History, Sociology, Genetics, Medicine, and Pharmacology.
