41st Annual Conference of the Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association (MAMCA) to be held in Nashville, March 30 – April 1, 2016


The 41st Annual Conference of the Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control Association (MAMCA) will take place in Nashville on March 30 – April 1, 2016 at the Inn at Opryland (http://www.mamca.org/conference.htm).

 This meeting will be hosted by the Tennessee Mosquito and Vector Control Association (TMVCA).  Please see attached agenda.  Speakers include our colleagues from multiple mid-Atlantic state health departments, universities and federal agencies including CDC.


To encourage attendance, TMVCA will waive TMVCA membership fees in 2016.  The MAMCA conference form is attached.  Full Registration is $125, One-Day registration is $45 and Full Student registration is $70.  If you have fellows interested in attending, they can attend as students. MAMCA membership ($10) is encouraged but not obligatory.  The registration form and check need to mailed to the MAMCA secretary/treasurer at the address on the form by March 20th, 2016.


Hotel room rates are $132 per night and can be reserved by calling The Inn at Opryland at 615-889-0800. Be sure to say that you will be attending the MAMCA meeting. Space is limited, so reservations must be made by Friday, March 6, 2016, after which time the room rate is not guaranteed. Complimentary self parking is available.
