Department conducting open-rank search for faculty position

The Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine is conducting an open-rank search for ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSORS with expertise in health policy.

The Department of Health Policy was established in 2013 and has grown to include 21 primary faculty and 21 secondary faculty from across Vanderbilt and the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The combination of a major research university and preeminent medical center gives Department faculty incredible opportunities to build relationships with clinicians and policymakers which can lead to breakthrough discoveries. Faculty interests include health care financing, insurance design and coverage; aging and long-term care; precision and genomic medicine; delivery system improvement; provider payment, health services research; implementation science, pharmacoepidemiology; cancer epidemiology; infectious diseases, and global health.

The Department is built on the premise that research and innovative thinking should guide health policy and policymakers to understand implications of their choices.
