As a US government senior medical expert, oversee over $100 million of HIV clinical programs in 7 geographic provinces through the President´s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR); partner with the Mozambican Ministry of Health to design, investigate, implement, and evaluate programs that ensure prompt diagnosis, initiation of treatment, and viral suppression in HIV patients; design, establish, and administer response framework for humanitarian crisis in northern Mozambique (Cabo Delgado Province); hire, train, and supervise eight medical doctors and technical program officers; provide epidemiological and disaster management expertise to CDC country office leadership |
