Michelle Armstrong

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Ithaca College and has over twenty years experience managing academic research laboratories at Cornell University and Vanderbilt. She has acquired experience with biochemical assays, protein purification, lipidomics and mass spectrometry working on various projects during this time that have resulted in nine co-authored, peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. Michelle joined the Georgiev lab in 2020 and is excited to contribute to the ongoing research program within the Vaccine Center. Outside of the lab, she enjoys cooking, genealogy, and spending time with her German Shepherds.
