Parastoo graduated from Clemson University in 2021 with her B.S. in Microbiology. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant in Dr. Darrell Irvine’s immunoengineering laboratory at MIT for two and a half years, focusing on the development of therapeutics for a variety of diseases like HIV and cancer. She is currently a graduate student in the Microbe-Host Interactions program at Vanderbilt, interested in researching antibody-antigens and antibody discovery. Outside of the lab, she enjoys running, live music and trying out new restaurants in Nashville.
