Rachael Wolters

PhD rotation student
Rachael completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at The University of Tennessee at Martin, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During her training she became interested in zoonotic infectious diseases, and the interface of viral immunology. She studied Zika virus small molecule inhibitors at Cornell University, and epidemiological patterns of antibiotic resistance at The University of Pretoria, SA. In her spare time, you will find her enjoying a craft beer, rescuing street cats in north Nashville, and searching for the best donut shop in Nashville.
