Job Opening (Junior postdoctoral position)
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with training in molecular biology and cardiovascular physiology. Send brief curriculum vitae (educations, research summary, publications, and area of interest) to: bjorn.knollmann@vanderbilt.edu.

08/01/2018 Christian Egly, Pharm.D., joins the lab as a postdoctoral Research Fellow. His current work in the lab involves drug screening in a long QT model utilizing hiPS cells.

06/30/2018 Congratulations to Shan Parikh on successfully defending his Ph.D. project entitled "Maturation and Implementation of Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Derived Cardiomyocytes for Modeling Cardiac Disease" and getting his Ph.D.!

01/01/2017    Congratulations to Nieves Gomez-Hurtado who was awarded a 2-year AHA Postdoctoral Fellowship grant for the work titled “Calmodulin in Sudden Cardiac Death”.

07/01/2016  Daniel Blackwell, Ph.D. joins the lab as a postdoctoral Research Fellow. Dan's current work in the lab deals with investigation of various calmodulins in iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes.

04/25/2016    Congratulations to Vasco Sequeira who's got a 1-year full time Postdoctoral grant research award from the Amsterdam Cardiovascular Sciences (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) for the work titled “Impaired energy homeostasis as a cause of acute cardiac arrest in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy”!

03/01/2016    Vasco Sequeira, Ph.D., joins the lab as a postdoctoral Research Fellow. His current project aims to understand Ca2+-handling and energy metabolism alterations in the pathophysiology of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and sudden cardiac death.

02/01/2016    Shan Parikh, M.S., joins the lab as an MD/PhD Candidate. His project will investigate Ca2+ handling in a  genetic form of dilated cardiomyopathy modeled in iPSC derived cardiomyocytes.
