Please join us in congratulating Jesse Ehrenfeld, M.D., MPH, who was recently named as Diversity Champion by the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA).
Ehrenfeld, who directs the Vanderbilt Program for lgbtq Health, was given the honor last month for his outstanding contributions in leadership and workplace diversity and inclusion.
Of the honor, Ehrenfeld says, "While I am humbled by this recognition, there is still much to be done to increase inclusion and health equity for LGBTQ people. However, I feel grateful for all the support that VUMC has provided to make possible our ongoing efforts to eliminate health disparities."
