Jun Qian, PhD
Research Assistant Professor
Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine
Jun Qian's primary expertise is integrating high-dimensional data including genomic and proteomic data analysis with molecular and cellular experiments to discover and validate potential novel biomarkers that contribute to human lung cancer development. He investigated 1) the role for 3q driver genes in the preinvasive lesions of lung squamous carcinoma; 2) the role of an RNA binding protein FXR1 in lung cancer progression; 3) the potential cooperative role between FXR1 and SLC7A11 in lung cancer; 4) the tumor progression models in early lung adenocarcinoma using targeted sequencing.
