Roddy Smith, MA

As part of the pre-award team in IMPH, Roddy works with investigators and other administrators to develop, process, and submit grant applications, progress reports and contracts. He prepares grant documents and forms, interprets guidelines, submits contracts and proposals, develops budgets for grant applications and contracts, and coordinates with other institutions on subcontracts. He has served on the Advisory Board for the Vanderbilt Program in Research Administration Development (VPRAD) and served many times as a VPRAD mentor. Roddy's goal is to be part of each investigator's team and assist them in doing meaningful work.
