Dr. Davis is a physician-investigator at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, trained in pediatrics, internal medicine, health services research, and health policy, with a career-long research focus on healthcare financing and decision-making in health policy and community health. He serves as the Division Head of Academic General Pediatrics and Primary Care, and also as Director of the Mary Ann & J. Milburn Smith Child Health Research Program in which nearly one dozen investigators conduct rigorous and timely health services, community health, and health policy research regarding the populations of Chicago and the United States. He also serves as Associate Chief Research Officer for Health Services and Policy Research at Lurie Children’s Hospital.
