Kwadwo (Kojo) Sarpong was born and raised in Ghana. He immigrated to the United States in 2009 and graduated from Emory University with a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology in 2015. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2022. His current research interests are in global neurosurgery and has founded several nonprofits to address the unmet research and neurosurgical needs in low-and-middle income countries. He is an avid proponent for gender parity in STEM and health equity across the globe. Kwadwo is a huge Manchester United fan and enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Priscilla, and daughter, Madison.
