Getting Ready
We realized after submitting the document that our real work had only just begun. We had to get the Magnet message out to the Vanderbilt community, both on and off campus. In order to accomplish this task, multiple committees and hundreds of “Magnet Champions” volunteered to begin educating and communicating the value of Magnet designation. The “education tools” were often creative, with an emphasis on fun. We hope you will take a few minutes to view the toe tapping Magnet video that highlights some of our magnetism.

One of the reasons our Magnet journey was such a success was that our on-campus paper covered so many of the activities and highlights of our Magnet journey.
