Kara Cole, PAC. Pediatric Surgery/Trauma Surgery

My role is primarily outpatient. I see patients in the outpatient setting for pre-op and post-op needs. Specific diagnosis I assess included umbilical hernias, gastrostomy tube needs, wound care, trauma follow-up, pectus carinatum. I also am the clinic coordinator for our CUBI clinic which is a clinic for children born with complex bowel and bladder issues.

Being in my current role allows me time to connect with my patients, several of whom have complex medical children and I have the ability to take the necessary time to make sure that all their needs are met. Being in Clarksville as my primary clinic site has helped improve patient satisfaction as they are able to be seen closer to home.

I have been married for 24 years and have two wonderful daughters ages 16 and 12 and a 4 y/o English Fox Hound dog named Pippin. My husband and I co-pastor at Dover First Church of the Nazarene and we have been in ministry for 25 years. In my spare time my husband and I love to trail run and have completed a Rim-to-Rim trail run across the Grand Canyon 3 times.
