Patient Services

Clinical Nutrition Services is comprised of professional staff (Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians) who provide medical nutrition therapy for and on behalf of patients at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dietetic professionals provide nutrition screening, assessment, intervention and evaluation for Vanderbilt University Hospital, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, The Vanderbilt Clinic and satellite clinics, Clinical Research Center, The Dayani Center, The Psychiatric Hospital at Vanderbilt and Vanderbilt Home Health using established standards of clinical nutrition practice, medical nutrition therapy protocols and multidisciplinary collaborative pathways. Dietitians and technicians funciton as integral members of patient care teams on both specialized and general services.
