Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology
The Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology provides comprehensive care to women at all stages of life — from puberty to after menopause. Our board certified OB/GYNs, women’s health nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives not only provide expert care, but they also offer options for how that care is delivered. We recognize and celebrate that every stage of a woman’s life is different — and so is every woman.
Providing our patients access to the newest and most innovative treatments before they’re widely offered is a priority for us. As part of the only academic medical center in the region, we’re able to do that through clinical trials that are investigating new approaches to gynecological care.
The Division of General Obstetrics & Gynecology is central to the clinical education of residents. Our residency program begins with extensive training in low-risk obstetrics in collaboration with our nurse midwife and physician faculty before clinical rotations through each subspecialty, including maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, operative gynecology,, gynecologic oncology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
