Fellowships - Urogynecology Program Research

Research

Research Opportunities

Research focused blocks are embedded throughout the three-year curriculum in three month intervals, with three months in the first and third year of fellowship and six months in the second year. Fellows identify research interests and are connected with relevant faculty mentors, both within the division and with other contacts across the University. Fellows are provided funding and time away to attend Society of Gynecologic Surgeons and the American Urogynecologic Society meetings each year of fellowship. Vanderbilt has multiple funding opportunities for fellows, and many fellows obtain grants from the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
