Paula J. Austin, BA, LATg

Paula Austin received her BS in Forensic Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and EMT IV certification from Volunteer State Community College.  She also received a certificate in Research Administration and Development from Vanderbilt University.  Within the WRHRC, Paula is responsible for human tissue acquisition and managing a large murine colony.  Paula also volunteers her time with the middle TN chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  She recently joined their board of directors where she is an outspoken advocate for suicide awareness and prevention and also provides support for families who lost loved ones to suicide.
