Sharareh "Sherry" Ameli, MS
Sharareh Ameli is a Research Assistant within the Women’s Reproductive Health Research Center, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University. Sharareh received her Masters degree of Clinical Pharmacology from University of Montreal, Canada in 2014, following her B.S in Chemistry. She has worked as a quality controller in a pharmaceutical industry lab for more than 7 years. Also she has worked at McGill University and Health Center on Multiple Myeloma Research. She has recently started to work in the Women’s Reproductive Health Research Center, under the mentorship of Dr. Kevin Osteen and Dr. Kaylon Bruner-Tran. Her research interests include environmental and genetic influences on endometriosis and possible therapeutic approaches. She is also interested in research on the development of reproductive organs-on-a-chip as new models for endometriosis study.
