The Office for Continuous Professional Development (OCPD) provides MOC II credit for CE-certified activities that meet the following criteria:
- Case-based patient care discussion
- Active engagement by participants
- Feedback on the discussion
- Recommendations for future practice
Once a faculty member’s profile has been set up to record MOC II credit, they will receive the credit automatically when they text in the CME code for CE/MOC certified activities. Our office reports MOC II credit to the respective boards once a quarter throughout the year with the final push of data occurring in December.
If you are a faculty member setting up a new CE activity and would like to discuss receiving MOC II credit, or if you already have a CE certified activity and would like to inquire about adding MOC II credit, please email OCPD for assistance.
