Julia Diller, B.S.

Research Specialist (2018-2024)

Julia earned her B.S. in Biology from Tennessee Technological University and worked as a cytogenetic technologist for several years. In the Ogden lab, she investigated rotavirus outer-capsid protein sequences and functions in neutralization, a fusion-associated small transmembrane (FAST) protein encoded by some rotavirus species, reovirus attachment mechanisms, reovirus replication and reassortment during coinfection and superinfection, and dsRNA virus egress and infection in extracellular vesicles.
