Amy Brown - Manager, Report Analysis

Amy Brown joined CPPA in 2011 and has more than 15 years of experience in health care and oversees the Report Analyst Team at the CPPA. In her current role, she ensures her 17-member team is upholding CPPA’s standards and complex protocols for coding all patient complaint reports and coworker observation reports. Her team is responsible for coding more than 200,000 reports per year for the nearly 175 hospitals across the nation that are a part of the PARS and CORS programs. Amy was elevated to a supervisory role within 18 months of joining the CPPA. She also played a pivotal role in the inception and development of the CORS coding scheme that is currently in use. Previously, Amy worked as a family care coordinator at Tennessee’s Organ and Tissue bank.
