Medical Research Building IV – The VUMC MICRO Facility to Advance Innovative BSL3 Research
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites you to submit a qualifications package for the construction of a new MICRO Facility to Advance Innovative BSL3 Research located on the 13th floor/penthouse level of the Medical Research Building IV (MRBIV).
This project will renovate portions of two existing BSL-2 laboratories and convert it into a BSL-3 laboratory suite. This project will include an expansion of the existing 14th floor rooftop screen wall enclosure to add a new mechanical penthouse. The scope of work will include demolishing the existing BSL2 wet laboratories, lab support spaces, alcoves, and several faculty offices in order to build back a new state of the art BSL3 laboratory facility.

Qualification Package Response Due: August 22, 2024
Evaluation of proposals and selection of short list of companies: September 5, 2024
