The Auditory Development Laboratory of the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center is directed by Dr. Anne Marie Tharpe. Currently, much of the laboratory's activity centers around the impact of the use of a home FM system on parent-child interactions, auditory processing during sleep in both children with normal hearing and children with hearing loss, as well as the impact of musical experience on cognitive functioning.
