The Perfusion Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is a 22-month, post-baccalaureate certificate program. 

The Perfusion Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Committee - Perfusion Education (AC-PE). 

The Perfusion Program is not accepting applications for the 2025-2027 cohort. Please check back later for updates.

 

What is Cardiovascular Perfusion?

Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology involves the study of physiology, pathology and associated equipment used to support and/or assume the function of the heart and/or lungs during medical procedures.
