Residency Program in Plastic Surgery (ACGME)
A Vanderbilt Plastic Surgery residency offers a robust surgical program lead by seasoned faculty teaching complex surgical procedures, cosmetic surgery and reconstruction for adults and children. Extensive research opportunities exist in dedicated laboratory space and campus wide resources. Annually Vanderbilt accepts three residents totaling nine. The three-year program meets and establishes prerequisites for entrance as specified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The Vanderbilt University Medical Center landscape provides rich experiences collaborating with the Burn Center, Veterans Hospital, Surgical Oncology, Orthopaedics, Trauma Unit and more.
