Liz West, AuD, CCC-A

Liz has been at VUMC and a member of the cleft team for three years. She was also the Audiologist for the cleft team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for two years prior to moving to Nashville. She loves that VUMC’s cleft team brings together the many different medical disciplines in a large hospital to one room. Combining all of our special interest together for a child’s care really gives them the most potential to succeed. The learning never stops, which makes our job so enjoyable!

Liz is a North Carolina native, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science from Appalachian State University, and then relocating to Tennessee to pursue her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Tennessee. Outside of ears, she can be found on the couch with a good book, eating on an East Nashville patio, exercising (balance!), or participating in college football activities. She also just started roller skating, which is a work in progress to say the least!  In most scenarios, her dog, Gatsby is by her side.
