Lisandro Montorfano, MD
Dr. Montorfano was born in Rosario, Argentina, where he completed medical school with honors at the National University of Rosario. After medical school, he moved to the United States. He worked as a Research Fellow for two years at the Cleveland Clinic Florida before joining as a General Surgery Resident at the same institution. During his residency, he received numerous awards for academic excellence and was elected Administrative Chief Resident. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, national and international presentations, book chapters, and magazine articles. He is an educator of the World Interactive Network Focus on Critical Ultrasound (Winfocus) and has participated in training activities in several countries. He is interested in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and aesthetic plastic surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Montorfano enjoys barbecuing for friends and family, the outdoors and cheering for his favorite rugby and soccer teams.
